LOCAC meetings provide a good opportunity to find out what’s happening in the county and how new and proposed ordinances affect Los Osos. The meetings are taped for viewing on Charter Channel 20. In addition to receiving reports from Supervisor Gibson, county and local agencies, and LOCAC committees, council members are looking for public comment on the land use issues being discussed and other topics of interest to the community. Chairperson Vicki Milledge urges all Los Osos/Baywood Park residents to participate in their community advisory council by attending the meetings on the 4th Thursday of each month, contacting their LOCAC residential district representatives with comments or suggestions about the agenda items or local issues, and checking out this LOCAC website.
